Exiqon Grant Program

Announcing the Exiqon Grant Program 2013

 

Accelerate you microRNA discoveries with a grant from Exiqon.


 

Exiqon is happy to announce that we are continuing our yearly grant program in 2013.

This year we will award three grants of $12,500 (¢æ 9000) in free Exiqon products to research projects that will contribute to our continued understanding of microRNA function in normal development, cellular processes or disease as well as the investigation of microRNAs as biomarkers or therapeutic targets.

Applications will be accepted through the online application form only and the deadline for application is February 1st 2013. Please see further details below.

Winners will be announced in early March.

The Exiqon Grant Program is open to researchers at academic institutions and non-profit research centers across the world. Award conveyance through the Exiqon Grant Program does not influence any other existing or potential sources of project funding.

Applications must be submitted through the online application form and all required fields must be filled in.

To prepare an application, please have the following ready:
• Contact details
• List of 3 important recent publications from yourself or related to your application. Please include PMID
• Complete list of Exiqon products needed for the application
• Project Title (max 200 characters)
• Project Introduction (max 1500 characters) specifying why the project is important, summarizing previous results and indicating how the specific project you are applying for is aligned with other work in the lab or collaborations, if including references, use PMID only.
• Project Description (max 3000 characters) stating the aim of the project and describing the planned experiments in detail including e.g. number of samples and controls. Indicate how you plan to analyze the results. Include a brief overview of the next steps and possible future projects.
• List of current and potential future funding
