  • DMSO certified for use in synthesizing fluorescent probes
  • ACS Reagent Grade material

Clontech¡¯s Glass Microarray-Approved DMSO is ideal for use in glass array hybridizations. Many brands of DMSO, even high-grade versions, often contain traces of contaminants that can chemically react with amino groups in cDNA and especially with amino groups of aminoallyl dUTP. This may result in lower labeling yields and inconsistent labeling. Each lot of Clontech¡¯s DMSO is specifically tested for the absence of such contaminants to ensure consistent labeling yields when using NHS reactive chemistry.
Applications
  • Glass Microarray Hybridization
