추후 세포 배양 시에도 세포주의 부착율(adherence)이 좋지 않다면 collagen-coated plate
또는 flask를 사용하는 것을 권장합니다.
NOTE: We recommend using collagen-coated plates or flasks for efficient culturing of frozen stocks. Vessels coated
with compounds other than collagen may also provide suitable growth substrates (e.g. poly-L-lysine), but only collagen-coated plates
(e.g. BD BioCoat Cellware, Collagen Type I) have been tested at Clontech. Once recovered, the cells may be cultured directly on tissue
culture plastic. However, if adherence is poor, we recommend using only collagen-coated vessels.

Retro-XTM Universal Packaging System
Retro-X Universal Packaging System은 GP2-293 packaging cell lines과 목적으로 하는 cell line에 따라 packaged virus가 친화성을 보이도록 하는 4 개의 envelope vector (pVSV-G, pEco, pAmpho, p101A1)로 구성되어 있으며, 고역가의 amphotropic, ecotropic, dualtropic 및 pantropic virus를 48 시간 이내에 얻을 수 있다. 이 packaging system은 Pantropic Expression System과 같은 cell lines에 사용한다.
Pantropic Retroviral Expression System
Pantropic Retroviral Expression System은 VSV-G virus envelope glyco protein을 발현하는 바이러스를 생산하기 위하여 GP2-293 cell line을 사용한다. 이 glycoprotein은 세포 표면의 receptor에 의존적이지는 않지만 lipid 결합 하여 plasma membrane과의 융합하여 바이러스가 침투하는 것을 매개한다 (2).
RetroPackTM PT67 cell lines
RetroPack PT67은 10A1 viral envelop를 발현시키는 NIH3T3 기반의 packaging cell line이다. PT67 세포에서 packaging된 바이러스는 다양한 포유류 세포를 감염시키는데 사용된다. 왜냐하면 바이러스가 두 개의 다른 표면 분자인 amphotropic retroivirus receptor (Ram-1)와 GALVr receptor를 통해 세포내로 들어갈 수 있기 때문이다. RetroPack PT67 Cell Line은 Retro-X system에 포함되어 있다.
Retroivirus packaging cell line과 system은 Clontech의 모든 retroivirus vector와 함께 사용할 수 있다.
