Takara MiniBEST DNA Fragment Purification Kit Ver.4.0은 PCR과 다른 효소처리 반응 후 DNA fragment를 정제하기 위한 제품으로 primer(<65 nt)나 효소, 그리고 nucleotides를 제거할 수 있다. 본 제품은 선택적으로 DNA fragment를 회수하기 위한 최적화된 silica membrane으로 구성된 column과 특별한 binding solution이 채용하고 있다. 전 과정은 15분내 완료 가능하다. 각 column은 최대 20 ug까지 DNA fragment(50 bp~20 kbp)를 binding 할 수 있으며 70~95% 회수율을 보인다. 20 Kbp(20~50 Kbp)이상의 DNA fragment의 회수율은 저하된다. 정제된 DNA fragment는 효소, DNA primer나 dNTP가 없는 고순도 DNA로 다양한 실험에 적용할 수 있다.
